Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aşkar

He was born on November 25, 1963 in Karapınar / Konya. He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Theology in 1989.

He completed his master’s degree with his thesis titled “Molla Fenari and His Understanding of Vahdet-i Vujud” in 1992, and his doctorate in 1997 with his thesis “Niyazi-i Mısri’s Life, Works and Understanding of Sufism”.

He received the title of associate professor (2000) in the same place. He works as a lecturer at Ankara University Faculty of Theology.

Mustafa Aşkar has many works in the field of Sufism.
